Start with the right records in the right books.

Several companies can mean several banks, cards, people and unfinished questions. A total is less useful if you are not sure which business or account it belongs to.

DoLedger serves people with several companies. Each business can choose its own first dashboard tab, giving its owner or bookkeeper a suitable starting view rather than forcing the same working routine on every company.

Follow the movement between businesses.

Money moving between your own companies is part of the story too. DoLedger’s Between books tools cover those movements alongside the records in the individual books.

Use the source statements and transaction detail when reviewing that movement. A transfer deserves its own context; it should not have to be understood from a balance alone.

Give each person a clear place in the work.

Owners, bookkeepers and accountants work through people and permissions. To Do, Calendar and personal reminders keep the outstanding work visible.

A useful routine is to ask the same questions of each company: which records are in, which accounts match, what needs review and who is handling the next step? DoLedger brings the views for those questions together.

All figures and business names in product views are illustrative. This is a product workflow guide, not personalized accounting or tax advice.
